The MG TF Roadster was introduced in the year 1953 as successor of the MG TD. The internal politics It’s considered today to be the most aesthetically pleasing of MG’s T-series cars, which could trace their lineage back to the original TA Midget of 1936. The TF proved great fun to drive with its independent front suspension and rack pinion steering. The Roadster was a face-lifted version of the TD with an additional performance boost courtesy of a larger engine which became popular amongst the T Series fans.
The featured MG TF was owned by Air Ceylon Captain Dudley Ranabahu from 1978 to 1995. The car is currently restored in appreciation to the legacy and appeal of the classic T-Series MG.
