Peugeot began life as an industrial manufacturer way back in 1810 – a steel foundry producing products such as band saws, umbrella frames and coffee grinders. The first car to carry the ‘Peugeot’ name was unveiled in 1889, making Peugeot the world’s second oldest car manufacturer and the oldest continuous car brand.
This is a small family car which was produced by the French car manufacturer (Peugeot) between 1948 and 1960.The 203 was Peugeot’s first new model launched after World War II. During its twelve-year production run nearly 700,000 203s of all variants rolled off the assembly line in Sochaux, France. A modern unibody sedan, it had the first of Peugeot’s long line of classic four-cylinder engines: iron block with an aluminum alloy hemi-head, valves actuated by pushrods.
